White Grapes. A Bunch at the Market
personal fragrance
Story
Daniyar made cheese in a mountain village. Ten years ago he brought his wheels to a southern market and at the next stall saw Severina: she was choosing white grapes and laughing as the berries burst in her fingers.
On the anniversary of that meeting he ordered a personal fragrance for her and took her south again.
In the morning Severina put White Grapes on her wrists. White grapes, raspberry, pineapple, pink pepper, blackcurrant leaves and buds, peach, white tea, pomegranate, lychee and mango opened juicy and sunny.
The market was noisy, just like back then. The sun warmed the stalls, it smelled of peaches and spices, and time seemed to stand still. Jasmine, rose and peony unfolded on her skin, tender and warm.
Daniyar led her to that very stall and bought a bunch of white grapes.
Daniyar, I smell of grapes and raspberries, just like that day. You remember everything," Severina said.
Every berry. Under their thin skin they hide as much sweetness as you hide under your prickly jokes," Daniyar laughed.
By evening patchouli, dry warm notes, teak, sandalwood, tonka bean and musk stayed on her skin, warm and soft.
How it smells
The start is juicy and sunny: white grapes, raspberry, peach, lychee, mango and pineapple give fruity sweetness, pomegranate and currant leaves a fresh tartness, white tea transparency, and pink pepper a light spice.
In the heart jasmine, rose and peony form a tender romantic bouquet.
In the base patchouli, teak, sandalwood, tonka bean, musk and dry warm notes leave a warm, soft trail.
What makes it special
White Grapes was created as a personal fragrance to order: a man gave it to the woman he loves as a symbol of memories of their first meeting. It is a touching love story, a memory of bright sun and summer, the feeling that time has stopped, when everything is good and troubles pass by. Romantic memories, little secrets and that delightful feeling are like grapes hiding a languid sweetness under a firm skin.
It is worn for warm memories: on an anniversary, on a summer day and beside the one with whom it all began.
