Vintage. The Old Cinema

Story
Antonina worked as a projectionist in a small town cinema. For forty years she loaded the reels, knew all the old films by heart and for many years wore the same beloved perfume from a vintage bottle that had long since run dry.
For her jubilee her daughter Sofya and the family decided to give her a gift: a fragrance created after that very perfume.
On the morning of her birthday Antonina put Vintage on her wrists. Orange blossom, mandarin, grapefruit, verbena, orange, pink pepper, lemon and green apple opened fresh and bright.
In the evening she went to work as always: the cinema was showing an old comedy. She stood at the projection-room window, watched the audience laugh and breathed in the familiar yet renewed scent. Orchid, neroli, galbanum, white freesia, iris, mimosa, jasmine, heliotrope, ylang-ylang, lily of the valley, rose, narcissus, hyacinth, gardenia and white lily unfolded on her skin, tender and familiar.
After the screening Sofya came up to the projection room with flowers.
Mum, well? Is it like your favourite?" Sofya asked.
Sofya, it smells of orchid and mimosa, like when I was young, only even better. Better than the original!" Antonina answered and hugged her daughter.
By night cedar, patchouli, sandalwood, tonka bean, vanilla, benzoin, labdanum, musk, oakmoss and a warm golden accord stayed on her skin, soft and warm.
How it smells
The start is fresh and bright: orange blossom, mandarin, grapefruit, orange and lemon sound vivid, verbena and green apple add freshness, and pink pepper a light spice.
In the heart orchid, neroli, white freesia, iris, mimosa, jasmine, heliotrope, ylang-ylang, lily of the valley, rose, narcissus, hyacinth, gardenia and white lily form a lush vintage bouquet, while galbanum adds a green bitterness.
In the base cedar, patchouli, sandalwood, tonka bean, vanilla, benzoin, labdanum, musk, oakmoss and a warm golden accord leave a soft, warm trail.
What makes it special
Vintage was created as a personal fragrance to order: a family decided to please their mother on her birthday with a fragrance inspired by her beloved vintage perfume. Over the years in the old bottle some notes were lost, others changed, and others remained the pride and core of the composition. The new fragrance was given a vintage sound, and when the family received the bottle, the verdict was unanimous: "Better than the original!" It is a floral vintage fragrance.
It is worn for warm memories: on a birthday, among family and beside those who remember you young.
