Story

Virineya wrote scripts for cartoons. Her best ideas came at dawn, in the minute when sleep still holds you and waking has already arrived. A notebook always lay on her bedside table.

For three months the studio had been waiting for a story for a new series, and nothing would come together.

On an April morning Virineya woke from a dreamed fairytale and, still sleepy, put Matin à la Vanilla on her wrists. Bergamot, passionflower, pineapple, ivy and star anise opened fresh and lively, chasing away the last of sleep.

She sat by the window with a cup of warm milk and wrote without stopping: about a little lighthouse that was afraid of the dark. Jasmine, gardenia, caramel, cream, amaryllis, lily of the valley, liquorice, toffee and violet unfolded on her skin, tender and sweet.

By noon she brought the notebook to the studio and laid it on the desk of the artist Ostromir.

Virineya, you smell of vanilla and caramel, like a childhood morning. And the story is just as warm. I can already see the first frames," Ostromir said.

I dreamed it. I just managed to catch it," Virineya answered.

By evening praline, mahogany, vetiver, vanilla, tonka bean, almond, heliotrope, white musk and dry warm notes stayed on her skin, soft and cosy.

How it smells

The start is fresh and lively: bergamot sounds bright, passionflower and pineapple add juiciness, and ivy and star anise a bitter-tart spice.

In the heart jasmine, gardenia, amaryllis, lily of the valley and violet sound tender, while caramel, cream, toffee and liquorice give a soft sweetness.

In the base praline, vanilla, tonka bean, almond, heliotrope, mahogany, vetiver, white musk and dry warm notes leave a soft, cosy trail.

What makes it special

Matin à la Vanilla was created as a personal fragrance to order. It is the scent of a gentle morning, the time of passing from the world of dreams into reality. Calabrian bergamot is woven into a tender vanilla base, invigorating and setting a good mood. Delicate, smoky, bitter-tart and mysterious, it awakens imagination and creative thinking and helps overcome difficulties with ease.

It is worn for a good start to the day: early in the morning, in creative work and on a day when a new idea is needed.
