Languor In Passions. The Gingerbread Board

On the wall of the gingerbread workshop hung a carved linden board. It bore a sun, a cherry branch and two birds. Fotiniya had carved it herself in her first year of work, and ever since every festive gingerbread had come out of this board.
Fotiniya had been baking gingerbread for twenty years. In summer there were few orders, but towards winter the workshop worked late into the night: the whole town waited for her gingerbread at the winter fair.
In November it turned cold and grew dark early. In the evening Fotiniya put Languor In Passions on her wrists, and rooibos sounded warm and soft, while dry warm notes and [a dark cane sweetness with a caramel depth] warmed the opening.
She kneaded honey dough, pressed the board into it and put the trays in the oven. By then cherry jam with bay leaf, [a cherry that had long slumbered in a dark golden depth], honey, dried fruits and liquorice root had opened on her skin, rich and sweet.
Elizar the lamplighter passed the window. On holidays the lamps in the old town were lit by hand, and he walked the street with a wick on a long handle. At the workshop he stopped and tapped on the glass.
"Fotiniya, it smells so good here that the whole street has stopped. Is it the gingerbread or something else?" Elizar asked.
"Gingerbread, of course," Fotiniya laughed and handed him a still warm gingerbread with birds through the window.
Elizar went on, and the lamps along the street lit up one after another.
By night tonka bean, clove, vanilla and warm wood remained on her skin. Fotiniya washed the board, hung it on the wall and switched off the light above the cooling gingerbread.
How it sounds
The opening is warm and soft: rooibos sounds like tea, and dry warm notes and [a dark cane sweetness] at once make the fragrance rich and warming.
The heart is opulent and sweet: cherry jam with bay leaf, [a cherry in a dark golden depth], honey, dried fruits and chocolate sponge. Liquorice root and gingerbread add spicy sweetness, cherry stones a light bitterness, sun-drying herbs and propolis the warmth of summer, and camphor a brief cool spark.
In the base tonka bean, clove, vanilla and wood leave a long warm trail that spreads in waves.
What makes it special
Languor In Passions belongs to Chilini Private. The brand calls it special: whole, voluminous, daring, bright and warm. It seems to wall you off from the rest of the world and lift you to a new level. With it, it is hard to be in a bad mood, to doubt or to stop dreaming. Its melody enchants and gently stirs, reminding you how rich life is in sensations, and the trail comes in waves, beautiful, long and changing. It is a unisex sweet oriental fragrance for autumn and winter.
@anastasiya.dev writes: "An indescribably beautiful scent of sweet cherry jam. Dried fruits, honey, spices."
elenakot on Kosmetista notes: "A warm, cosy fragrance. Mesmerising."
People wear it for rich sweetness: on a long winter evening, at a celebration and on a day when you need to warm yourself and others.
