Wonderland

In Anton's new building an empty saucer stood on the windowsill between the second and third floors. Who had put it there remained a mystery.

Anton had moved to this city for work in November and was still completely alone here. The neighbours nodded to him on the stairs and shut their doors at once.

A week later a ginger cat appeared in the stairwell. It watched Anton with yellow eyes and vanished the moment he took a step towards it.

In the mornings Anton put Cheshire Cat on his wrists, a warm quiet scent that almost merged with his skin. He had brought the bottle with him from Saint Petersburg.

One evening the cat jumped down onto the steps by itself and sniffed the sleeve of his jacket for a long time. Then it rubbed its cheek against his palm and walked Anton all the way to his flat.

The neighbour from the third floor saw this from the landing. "He only comes to the people he has chosen. What is that lovely smell on you?" she asked. Anton held out his wrist, and she smiled.

On Saturday the neighbour invited him for tea and pie. At the table it turned out that she had put the saucer there and had been feeding the ginger cat for three winters.

A month later Anton bought a bag of cat food and filled the saucer on the windowsill himself. The cat settled beside it, narrowed its eyes and seemed to smile.

The image of the Cheshire Cat is presented in the collection by a delicate accord of musky shades.

How it smells

The scent arrives quietly. Musk settles on the skin in a soft warm layer, smooth and velvety, like a second skin.

White musk adds the cleanness of freshly washed fabric. With it the scent brightens and becomes transparent, like a light veil.

Ambrette gives a fine powdery facet with a light grainy warmth. The composition grows brighter, almost disappears, and returns again as the wearer moves.

What makes it special

Cheshire Cat belongs to the Wonderland collection, whose scents are dedicated to the characters of "Alice in Wonderland". The scents of the collection can be worn on their own or layered one over another in any combination, and Vera0305 on Kosmetista notes that it "turned out to be good in various mixes." Tatiana MT on Aromo calls it "soft and pleasant, such a purring musk." Solnce1988 on LadiesProject writes of a "delicate, soft musk with a certain twist." Customer @elvira_vinerovna says people keep asking her "what is that smell on you?", and it reads "to some as tenderness, to some as freshness, to some as cleanness." People wear it for a quiet warmth that loved ones notice.
