Beside them travels the one who has decided nothing yet and goes for that reason. The niche fragrance Vicky Cristina Barcelona by Edgardio Chilini is made from that summer — two friends, a foreign city, a dedication to Woody Allen.

Who was the hunter, who the quarry…?

In Barcelona the evenings are long, and what at home had seemed settled loses its firmness. One holds to her order and still hears how the air has changed. The other looks for an occasion and finds it before she has time to know whether she needs it. The man who appears between them usually thinks that he is the one who chooses. The summer arranges it otherwise. By the time of leaving, no one is sure that it was he who led the game.

The composition is floral and fruity, with a warm base. There is the freshness of the first days, when the city still seems an opening, and the warmth that comes later, when it is no longer possible to pretend that nothing has happened.

How it wears

The opening is cold and juicy: menthol, lemon, lime, orange, apple, passion fruit, lychee, blackcurrant leaf. Pepper sits at the edge.

The heart is floral-fruity: peony, magnolia, jasmine, rose, raspberry, peach. Caramel holds the warmth. Datura and ylang sit quieter.

The base is warm: sandalwood, cedar, pine, vanilla, leather, amber, musk. Patchouli and vetiver are the floor. By evening the fruit goes; flower, wood and leather remain.

The construction is floral-fruity, with a cold entrance and a warm leather base. Summer is heard in the opening. What remains after is warmth and leather.
