He is given the same stretch of life once more. He already knows how it ends, and still he enters it. The niche fragrance Source Code by Edgardio Chilini is made from that return. There is no deliverance. There is only the path. And the second that can still be lived.
Every second we live is precious.
The film asks questions that still have no answer. A man finds himself in another body and lives another death until he understands who stands behind the disaster. Beside him is a woman who sees what is happening to him and goes against the system to help him. The life is already given up, and time is still going, and it cannot be spent empty.
It draws you in and puts you into its own atmosphere.
How it wears
The opening is tart and bright: bergamot, mandarin, cranberry. Pink pepper is a spark at the edge.
The heart is dense: cocoa, violet, rose. Frankincense and juniper hold resin and cold. Coriander sits quieter.
The base is viscous: patchouli, vanilla, massoia, labdanum, cedar, pine. By evening a bittersweet density remains — cocoa, wood, resin.
The construction is gourmand-woody, with a berry entrance. The theme is density. The citrus yields quickly. Cocoa and labdanum hold the line.
What sets it apart
