Story
Severin studied the history of his small town and knew everything about it. Yet for many years he had dreamed of moving to the capital, where, it seemed to him, real life began.
In September Olimpia came to see him, a journalist who wrote about old towns. Severin was to show her the town in a single day.
In the morning he put Charlie 03 Maturity on his wrists. Bergamot, grapefruit, pear, peach, apricot, plum, frangipani, cinnamon and lavender opened bright, juicy and spicy.
They walked along the old streets. Olimpia stopped at every carved window frame and asked about everything. Rosemary, coriander, Peru balsam, iris, jasmine, rose, tuberose and magnolia unfolded on his skin, dense and warm.
By evening Severin noticed he was talking about the town with a pleasure he had not felt for a long time.
Severin, you smell of ripe fruit and of something very steady. And your town is amazing, you've simply grown used to it," Olimpia said.
I think today I saw it for the first time. I still have room to grow here," Severin answered.
The next day he sat down to write a book about his town.
By night ambrette, white cedar, vetiver, sandalwood, patchouli, tonka, a warm golden accord, musk and oakmoss stayed on his skin, deep and calm.
How it smells
The start is bright and juicy: bergamot, grapefruit and mandarin sound fresh, pear, melon, peach, apricot, plum and blackberry give fruity flesh, frangipani lies creamy, and pepper, cinnamon, basil and lavender add spice.
In the heart rosemary, coriander and clove sound dry and warm, Peru balsam adds resinous depth, and iris, jasmine, rose, tuberose, magnolia, violet and lily of the valley create a dense floral bouquet.
In the base ambrette, white cedar, vetiver, sandalwood, patchouli, tonka, a warm golden accord, musk and oakmoss leave a dense, warm and noble trail.

What makes it special
Charlie 03 Maturity is part of the Charlie collection and is now discontinued. It is a dedication to Charlie Chaplin. Ten phrases "As I began to love myself…", attributed to him and his seventieth birthday, inspired the brand to create ten fragrances. The third phrase is about letting go of the dream of some other life and seeing that everything around you invites you to grow. It is called maturity. It is a rich fruity floral fragrance with spicy, resinous and mossy shades.
It is worn for mature calm: on a September day, in familiar places and on a day when you see the familiar anew.
